West Sumatra Regional Police reprove ten Thousands of Health protocols Violators, Most of them are in Bukittinggi

inp.polri.go.id - Padang.  The West Sumatra Regional Police recorded that they had reprimanded 30,484 people who violated the health protocol (Prokes) in a day, on holidays on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

 

 

Head of Public Relations ?? West Sumatra Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Satake Bayu said most of the people who were verbally reprimanded in the city of Bukittinggi, which is the center of tourist destinations in the area.

 

 

 

In Justice Operation there were 23,077 people who were reprimanded by officers for violating health protocols in the area, most of whom did not wear masks properly.

 

 

 

Furthermore, 1,465 people were reprimanded by the Covid-19 Task Force in Padang City on that day and 900 people were reprimanded in Payakumbuh City.

 

 

 

In addition, 1,312 people were reprimanded in writing in that area in a day and the most in Bukittinggi was 586 people who violated health protocols.  In addition, the Covid-19 Task Force closed 775 business places that violated health protocols in the area, starting from not providing a place to wash hands, not imposing distancing and causing crowds.

 

 

 

The Head of Public Relations of the West Sumatra Regional Police said that the 775 business places spread across Padang Pariaman Regency, as many as 731 business places and 44 business places in the City of Bukittinggi were closed by officers.  The West Sumatra Covid-19 Task Force consisting of the Indonesian Army, Police and Municipalities Police targets community gathering places, who are observed not complying with health protocols.

 

 

 

 

"They will be punished with reprimands and fines for residents who do not wear masks and keep their distance when they are in a place that looks crowded," he concluded.
