West Sumatra Regional Police Holds Free Covid-19 Vaccination

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Padang. The West Sumatra Regional Police provide a Covid-19 vaccine for the community. The provision of free vaccines are planned for two days. This was conveyed by the Chief of West Sumatra Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Lisa Cancer.

"Come on ladies and gentlemen who want the Covid-19 vaccine, the West Sumatra Regional Police will hold a vaccination on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20th June 2021," he explained at the West Sumatra Regional Police Headquarter, Friday (06/18/2021).

The Chief of Health Department of West Sumatra Regional Police added that the mass vaccination was carried out in two locations, namely at Badminton Court of West Sumatra Regional Police on Jenderal Sudirman and at the Imam Bonjol RTH Street or in front of the Padang Police Station.

"Providing the Covid-19 vaccine is one of the efforts of Indonesian government to create herd immunity in the body," he said.

Pol. Grand Commissioner Lisda Cancer continued that the implementation of the vaccination was to support government programs. The West Sumatra Regional Police also took part in the success of the Covid-19 vaccination for the entire community.

Meanwhile, the Chief of Public Relations of West Sumatra Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Satake Bayu Setianto explained that the implementation of the vaccination by West Sumatra Regional Police was also in commemoration of 75th Anniversary of Bhayangkara and Police Doctors of Health in 2021.

He continued, people who can or can be vaccinated are aged 18 years to the elderly.

"People who will be vaccinated should prepare and bring a photocopy of their ID card or family card," he said.
