Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Padang. The West Sumatra Police Chief, Inspector General Toni Harmanto, together with Military Regional Command 032 Wirabraja Brigadier General Arief Gajah Mada, this afternoon reviewed the vaccination program facilitated by the Padang Friends Association (HTT).
The Regional Police Chief appreciated HTT's steps to hold a Covid-19 vaccination at the HTT Building located in the Pondok City area of Padang. Regional Police Chief hopes that the community could help each other in the success of the mass vaccination program. Currently the public euphoria to get the vaccine is quite high. So you have to share to make this program a success.
"We are grateful and appreciate the steps taken by HTT which has representative, cool and comfortable building facilities for the implementation of vaccines. We at Regional Police and Police Stations have vaccine booths, here too. If our outlets are empty later, we will send health workers here," explained the Regional Police Chief.
Meanwhile, Head of Operations for HTT, Albert Hendra Lukman, said that his party had carried out vaccination activities dozens of times by cooperating with a number of parties, starting from the Padang City Health Department., National Armed Forces and National Police and others. He explained that HTT has adequate facilities and infrastructure with a large and representative building, comfortable and cool.
“A total of 15 times we have done this activity here. This step is to succeed the government's vaccination program so that this pandemic ends soon. We are trying to support the government together to create herd immunity. Today we are targeting a thousand participants because in the first vaccine around 900 peoples will run the second vaccine today. Probably more than a thousand people we serve today,” he explained.
In addition to vaccination, his party also routinely distributes social assistance to people who are economically constrained by the pandemic.
“We as a social group in the current condition need mutual cooperation in dealing with this. We help all levels of society both in Padang and West Sumatra," he concluded.
