inp.polri.go.id – Padang. West Sumatera Regional Police extended the Insulation Post at the West Sumatera border with other province until next week, Monday (24 May).
Head of Public Affairs Division West Sumatera Regional Police Grand Commissioner Satake Bayu Setianto mentioned the extension on insulation post followed the period of homecoming prohibition implemented by central governmet from April 22 to May 24, 2021.
The insulation post supposed to be effective until May 17, 2021, according to the time span in 2021 Ketupat Singgalang Operation.
“We are adjusting to the provision of the central government,” mentioned by Police Grand Commissioner Satake Bayu Setianto, Monday (05/17).
He mentioned that his team would extend the period to all Insulation Posts in located at seven regions in West Sumatera directly adjacent to other province.
“For the Security and Service Post, it remains in accordance with Ketupat Singgalang Operation agenda, which is until May 17, 201,” he said.
With the extension of the Insulation Post, his team still implement U-Turn sanction to the homecomers who exit and enter West Su,atera insulation post.
He explained that his team would extend the period of the seven insulation post that is directly adjacent to other provinces.
“For the security and service post, it remains operated as referred to Ketupat Singgalang Operatio, that is until May 17, 2021,” he said.
With the extension of the Insulation Post, his team will implement U-Turn sanction to homecomers exiting and entering West Sumatera.
