Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Mamuju. Before being deployed, 100 personnel of Youth NCOs of West Sulawesi Regional Police attended Covid-19 tracer training conducted at the hall of West Sulawesi Regional Police Headquarter, Wednesday (07/28/2021).
Director of Community Development of West Sulawesi Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Andarias, said the tracers would later be tasked to trace Covid-19 positive patients closed contacts as well as providing education on health protocols in the community.
According to Andarias, the tracer is a noble task because it helps to overcome the transmission of Covid-19, which is now entering its second year.
"This is the most valuable and noble experience for you because it can save humans from global Covid-19 outbreak which is currently increasing," the Director of Community Development of West Sulawesi Regional Police said.
Director of Community Development of West Sulawesi Regional Police hopes all tracer officers will focus on training and can work well when deployed to the field while still paying attention to safety and following health protocols.
