West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Holds Covid-19 Vaccination in Gili Trawangan

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Mataram. The West Nusa Tenggara Police held a Precision Merdeka Covid-19 Vaccination at the tourist sites of Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air, North Lombok.

The event was also attended by the Head of the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police, Inspector General Mohammad Iqbal, the Minister of Tourism Sandiaga Salahudin Uno and the Regent of North Lombok via the zoom application.

The Minister of Tourism appreciated the independent vaccination activities in the three places.

"I appreciate all the elements that support the event, starting from the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Chief and his ranks, as well as other ministries and institutions as well as the business community and society," said Sandiaga Uno.

In the same place, the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Mohammad Iqbal is determined to complete vaccinations for residents and tourism actors in the three Gilis.

"If God willing, today we will finish the people in Gili Trawangan to be vaccinated," said Two Star General.

The former Head of the Public Relations Division added that this vaccination was the government's commitment with the National Armed Forces and National Police to normalize tourism in West Nusa Tenggara.

"We want the communal immunity of residents and tourism actors in these three dyke to achieve Herd Immunity. If God willing, 100 percent today and tomorrow all people here will be vaccinated," explained the Indonesian Military Academy graduate in 1991.

"Pol. General Inspector Mohammad Iqbal appealed and reminded residents who have received the vaccine to maintain health protocols, such as wearing masks, maintaining distance and washing hands and avoiding crowds."
