Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Bandung. Directorate of Drugs Investigation of West Java Regional Police successfully exposes the large-scale illegal potent drug manufacturing practices. From this raid, Police seized millions of illegal drug pellets and their ingredients stored in a house at Gunung Kinibalu street, Cimahi Utara, Cimahi city.
Besides evidence, Police also arrested the owner initialled YH (45).
Chief of PR and Press of West Java Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Erdi Chaniago, in his statement, said that YH is a recidivist of the same case.
In 2014, the suspect was arrested and only sentenced to eight months in jail.
"Previously, the suspect was sentenced for eight months on the same case. Only punished by eight months in jail", Police Grand Commissioner Erdi Chaniago said.
The Middle Officer of the West Java Regional Police, Directorate of Drugs Investigation of West Java Regional Police, is now chasing for another two people related to this case. The two people have been identified and put on the wanted list.
"Both are the suppliers and sellers of the fake drugs produced by YH. We asked two of them to surrender immediately", Chief of PR and Press of West Java Regional Police said.
In this case, the suspect is subjected to Article 196 and 197 of Law No. 36 of 2009 about Health and threatened to a maximum of 15 years in prison and a maximum of Rp1.5 billion in fines.
