Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Makassar. South Sulawesi Regional Police organized an Internal Badminton Tournament for the South Sulawesi Regional Police Headquarters at the Dafest Daya Sports Building, Makassar, Wednesday (06/23/2021).
This Badminton Tournament was held to celebrate the 75th Bhayangkara Day which falls on July 1, 2021.
Participants in this Internal Badminton Tournament was Working Unit (Satker) of South Sulawesi Regional Police Headquarter.
The tournament was opened by the Director of Traffic Security of South Sulawesi Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Frans Sentoe. In his speech, he said this badminton tournament was held to celebrate the 75th Bhayangkara Day.
"Besides sthrengthening our team, I hope this Badminton Tournament will have a positive impact on health, stamina or endurance so way we can serve the community well," the Director of Traffic Security of South Sulawesi Regional Police said.
"I hope all personnels will continue to uphold professionalism when competing," he concluded.
Meanwhile, Head of Public Affairs of South Sulawesi Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner E. Zulpan. who also competed in the tournament, said the purpose and objective of holding the Buini sports competition was to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Bhayangkara as well as a place to strengthen bonding and increasing togetherness.
"We also maintain self-immunity through sports activities during the Covid-19 pandemic that is currently hitting us, as well as strengthen our friendship," Head of Public Affairs of South Sulawesi Regional Police said.
