War on Drugs, Chief of Central Sulawesi Regional Police Lead the Declaration and Signing the Integrity Pact

inp.polri.go.id - Palu. The Central Sulawesi Regional Police through the Profession and Security Division (Bid Propam) of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police held a declaration and signed an integrity pact.

The activity which was held at the Central Sulawesi Regional Police’s ceremony field was led directly by the Chief of Central Sulawesi Regional Police, Inspector General Abdul Rakhman Baso, and was attended by the High Rank Officers and all personnel of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police.

In his remarks, the Chief of Central Sulawesi Regional Police said the purpose of implementing the declaration and signing of the integrity pact was a sign of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police's seriousness in fighting drugs and strengthening joint commitments in narcotics abuse and distribution.

Second, to raise openness and honesty and to facilitate quality, effective and accountable tasks, including to manifest responsibility of Central Sulawesi Regional Police personnel's and civil state apparatus.

The Chief of Central Sulawesi Regional Police also said the commitment was not only for personnel who served in the operational function in disclosing cases, but this commitment also applies to all personnel of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police, who must be clean and free from the influence of drugs.

"The commitment that was spoken and signed today is a stern warning to all personnel of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police without exception," he explained.

The Two-Star General also emphasized that if there are members of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police who are involved and proven to use drugs, they will not hesitate to take firm action according to the police procedures and code of ethics.

“Zero tolerance for personnel involved as user, especially as drug dealer. If you find or reveal drug abusers with "kiloan" evidence, don't hesitate to take decisive and measured action," the Chief of Central Sulawesi Regional Police said.
