Wakapolda Papua Implore 2,236 NCOs to Encourage Unity and Integrity

inp.polri.go.id – Jayapura. The Deputy Chief (Wakapolda) of the Papuan Police (Polda Papua), Brigadier General Dr. Eko Rudi Sudarto led the closing ceremony for the Noken Police 2021 Coaching and Training (Binlat BA) at the SPN Polda Papua, Friday, (4/2/2022)


The ceremony was attendeded by 2,236 National Police (Polri) non-commissioned officer (NCO) Noken at the SPN Polda Papua and a number of PJU Polda Papua also appeared in the ceremony. The occasion was also attended by representatives of the Indonesian Human Rights Commission of the Papua Region.


The Deputy Chief of Police explained that the implementation of preparing the NCO Noken Polri for the 2021 fiscal year is one of the stages from the recruitment phase of Polri Officers' acceptance to the stage of implementing the Binlat.


There are 2,297 NCOs who were appointed. Those who followed Binlat until the closing were 2,236 NCOs, which 1,997 of them are from the Papua Provincial Government and the other 239 are from the Dipa Polri to participate in the noken National Police Binlat Binlat in 2021.


“These participants are our best recruits hailed from Papua Province that has passed the test and studied at Pusdik/SPN very well,” said Wakapolda.


The One Star General also said that the purpose of preparing the Binlat Bintara Noken Polri for the 2021 fiscal year is to form individuals with nationalist characteristics, who value noble qualities of Pancasila and are able to encourage the unity and integrity of the Indonesian nation in Papua region in carrying out their duties as Polri.


"With the academic knowledge that has been given, individual and group skills that have been trained and supported by the results of integrity and morality development received during education and training, you will be able to become agents of change that will bring the police to be more trusted by the community," he concluded.
