Deputy Chief of the East Java Police (Wakapolda Jatim) Brigadier General Slamet Hadi Supraptoyo, carried out a simultaneous vaccination inspection, held at Ponpes Nurul Jadid Paiton, Probolinggo Regency, on Thursday (24/2/22). His inspection was accompanied by the main official of the East Java Police (Polda Jatim), the Head of the Probolinggo Police (Kapolres Probolinggo), AKBP Teuku Arsya Gaddafi, and the Forkopimda of Probolinggo Regency.
Brigadier General Slamet Hadi Supraptoyo said that the vaccination activity was a part of the nation's concern and efforts to prevent the outbreak of COVID-19, which currently still exists.
"Our efforts to fortify immunity during the COVID-19 pandemic are through vaccination and the application of health protocols," said Wakapolda.
Currently, Jawa Timur has reached 89,81% for the first dose inoculation and 71.5% for the second dose. For Probolinggo Regency, they have reached 97% for the first dose and 77% for the second dose. The officials said that what they have to do now is to accelerate the third dose and the inoculation for the elderly.
Wakapolda also appealed to the public to always comply with health protocols to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
The One-Star General appreciated the vaccination activities held at the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School. Synergy and collaboration Forkopimda Probolinggo Regency with Ponpes Caregivers who have provided space, time, and place for the implementation of this vaccination should be used as an example for other regions in promoting vaccination.
