Wadas Begins Quiet Down, Authorities Urge No More Provocation

Head of the Police Public Relations Division (Kadiv Humas Polri) Inspector General (Irjen) Dr. Dedi Prasetyo, M.Hum., M.Sc., M.M., stated that the situation in Wadas Village, Purworejo, Central Java begins to quiet down, thus he urged that this situation must be maintained together, especially by the news in the mass media.


“We have received information from Central Java Police Chief that Wadas is now safe and sound,” said Kadiv Humas Polri in National Police Headquarters, Monday (14/2/2022).


Therefore, the former Head of Central Kalimantan Police hopes that media colleagues will support it by providing education and literacy to the community to jointly maintain security and order in Wadas Village, especially in conveying information or news that should not be offensive or provocative.


“Do not let this situation be disturbed again by the provocation of news that cornered certain individuals or parties that could endanger our unity,” he said. “This is our responsibility and media colleagues must provide balanced information to maintain this conducive situation,” concluded Kadiv Humas Polri.
