inp.polri.go.id - Mimika.Located in the Meeting Room of the Cendrawasih Hotel 66 Jalan Cendrawasih SP2, Mimika Baru District, Mimika Regency, a briefing activity was carried out by the Deputy Chief of Papua Regional Police, Pol. Brigadier General Eko Rudi Sudarto, to the personnel of theNational Police, Mobile Brigade Yon B and the Mimika Sector Police regarding the Shield (Deployment of Personnel Facing Transformation).
On that occasion, Mimika Police Chief, Police Grand Commissioner I Gusti Gede Era Adinata, said that most of the personnel present here were from the National Police,Mobile Brigade and Police Station.
"In the meantime, we can report to the General that in the last 1 year the situation in the Mimika Regency area is in a conducive condition, this is all because all of you are united in their work, both synergistically within the scope of the National Police, TNational Armed Forces and The Community," explained the National Police Chief.
Meanwhile, on his occasion, the Deputy Chief of the Papua Regional Police expressed his gratitude to all the personnel who were present.
"Seeing what we have done so far by Noken's Community Development is still only on the surface, so we need to touch and use the theory/science of Genology or science that studies the historical origins and cultural heritage of a person/region/nation, examples like what we see today in Timika namely Pos Peka (care for security) which we need to maintain and develop, therefore we must maintain solidity and cohesiveness so that the fire of enthusiasm continues to burn," explained the Deputy Chief of Papua Regional Police.
The Deputy Chief of Police also explained that related to the implementation of the Police's duties in dealing with the problems that occur and are intense in Papua, several methods and police programs are needed in handling it in order to increase security in each sector based on Presidential Decree No. 9 Th. 2020. Therefore, apart from externally, the implementation of Noken's Community Development internally applies to all police technical functions and supporting functions which are technically operationalized concepts that are summarized in programs with local jargon, namely; Kasuari (Welfare for the children of the country), Koteka (Communication of Elite Security and Public Order figures), Si-in-law (teaching police), Peka (Care for Public Order and Security.), Matoa (Millennial Torang Maju), Papeda (scholar youth) and TIFA (Torang Insan Faham Custom: Masdarwis). I hope that in the future these local jargons could become the mainstay of the Papuan Regional Police in getting closer to the community.
