Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Pekanbaru. Deputy Chief of Police, Police General Commissioner Gatot Eddy Pramono, visited Hajj Hostel, a location set by the government as the centralised isolation facility in Pekanbaru, on Tuesday (10/8/2021).
Head of Riau Health Agency, Mimi Yuliani Nazir, stated that the Hajj Hostel's capacity is at 513 beds. Now, 270 people are using the facilities.
"There are 513 beds in here, and filled with 270 people at the moment, consist of 21 people from Police civil servants (PNPP), nine people from relatives of the PNPP, and 240 civilians, so 243 beds are still empty. The facilities available here are food and drink, health workers, medicines, ambulances, sunbathing area, aerobic activities, and sports facilities", Head of Riau Health Agency said.
During the interactive dialogue with the inpatients, the Deputy Chief of Police cheered up all patients.
"If you feel the medicines are not adequate, please report to health workers there. Keep exercising to increase body immunity. Patients in one room of two or three must adhere to Health Protocols. Always check the swab test result. If tested negative, please ask for referrals to discontinue the isolation", Deputy Chief of Polic said.
The Deputy Chief of Police also made time to inspect the Emergency Hospital and gave packages to the isolating patients and their families in the form of 300 packages of fruit and 200 packages of basic necessities.
