Papua - The Mamberamo Raya region, located in the hump of the Kasuari bird-shaped map of Papua, is one of the regions in Papua rich in religious activities.
Regarding the demographic aspect, the Noken Community Development Unit (Binmas Noken) of Mamberamo Raya actively conducting the KOTEKA programme (Communication with Political Elite, Religious, Traditional, and Community Figures).
One of the activities was conducted on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at 10.00 by the Police Commissioner Attendant Dorce Sada, Police Brigadier Robert Maryen, and Police Brigadier 2nd Class Abdulloh Fatihin through the visit of the religious figure, Mr Pitoni, as the congregation teacher in Namunajewa and community figure, Kosmus Makabori.
Madam Chief of Binmas Noken, Police Commissioner Attendant Dorce Sada, and the team were warmly welcomed by Mr Pitoni and Mr Makabori. Police Commissioner Attendant Dorce then delivered the purposes and objectives of the Binmas Noken Task Force visit. "The presence of us in your place is to encourage you and the congregation to maintain security and order together in the Mamberamo Raya region".
Binmas Noken was also giving gifts as the support of the positive works of Mr Pitoni and Mr Makabori for the congregation.
Mr Pitoni and Mr Makabori also thanked the Binmas Noken Nemangkawi of Mamberamo Raya Departmental Police because they encouraged community figures in maintaining security and order in the Mamberamo Raya regency.
In the future, Mr Mitoni hoped that friendship and cooperation would be better built and fostered well so that people would feel safe and not easily instigated by invitations from criminal groups.
