Visit Vaccine Center, Deputy Chief of Riau Regional Police Monitored Vaccination And Provided Social Assistance for Community

Deputy Chief of Indonesia National Police, Police Commissioner General Gatot Eddy Pramono, monitored the implementation of vaccination at Vaccine Center as well as providing social assistance for community at Vaccine Center Bhayangkara Hospital, Riau on Tuesday (08/10/2021).

Together with Chief of Riau Regional Police and Deputy Governor, Deputy Chief of Indonesia National Police went straight to the vaccination room, which had been serving the community since morning.

“We came to Riau for the first time with the aim to ensure the implementation of PPKM (Community Activity Restriction) can run properly and what has been conveyed by President, Chief of Indonesia National Police, goes as expected. The steps have been taken by Riau Regional Leader Communication Forum and Pekanbaru Regional Leader Communication Forum. There are several things that must be evaluated in limiting the extent to which the restrictions will be implemented and need to be discussed between Riau Regional Leader Communication Forum and Pekanbaru Regional Leader Communication Forum in the future, including the acceleration of vaccination implementatoon, " Deputy Chief of Indonesia National Police mentioned.

He also advised people who are self-isolating at home to carry out centralized isolation prepared by government.

"The implementation of centralized isolation is useful in handling Covid-19. In centralized isolation, what is needed for healing process is already available in the dormitory," Deputy Chief of Indonesia National Police said.

"If we can suppress Covid-19 case, then our economy can be improved. This requires cooperation among Riau Regional Leader Communication Forum, Pekanbaru Regional Leader Communication Forum and other stakeholders," Deputy Chief of Indonesia National Police explained.

On that occasion, Deputy Chief of Indonesia National Police handed over 450 packages of nine-basic-needs which were symbolically received by people who carried out vaccinations.
