Violating Health Protocol, Greater Jakarta Regional Police Close Nightlife Venues in West Jakarta

The Directorate of Narcotics at the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police close down a nightclub in the Taman Sari area, West Jakarta, Sunday (30/5/2021) early in the morning. The closed down was carried out because it was found that there was a violation of the health protocol to prevent the transmission of the corona virus (Covid-19).

Director of Narcotics Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Police Grand Commissioner Mukti Juharsa said that during the raid, the officers found the visitors crowded. Meanwhile, the room capacity, he said, is limited.

"We saw it in full, the place is small," explained Police Grand Commissioner Mukti Juharsa

The Director of Narcotics at Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police said police officers also searched every visitor. In addition, the urine test results found that four visitors were positive for drugs abuse

According to the Intermediate Officer of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police, visitors who tested positive for drugs abuse were taken to Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police for further investigation.

This operation to eradicate drug trafficking and crowd dispersal will continue until the Covid-19 pandemic ends.
