Chief of Gorontalo Regional Police, through the Traffic Directorate, recommences mass Covid-19 vaccination for students and the general public on Monday (13/9/21). On this vaccination event, the Traffic Directorate of Gorontalo Regional Police collaborates with two high schools: 1 Public Vocational School and 4 Public Vocational School of Gorontalo City.
Traffic Corps Director of Gorontalo Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Arief Budiman, through the Deputy Director of Traffic Corps of Gorontalo Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant, Desmont Harjendro Agiston Putra, when inspecting vaccination event, said that this event, held by Gorontalo Regional Police and targeted the students, aims to achieve herd immunity in approaching offline learning.
"This vaccination event is conducted for future anticipation if there would be offline learning sessions", the Director of the Traffic Corps of Gorontalo Regional Police.
Former Chief of Gorontalo City Departmental Police also advised the vaccine recipients to implement Health Protocols such as wearing masks, keeping their distance, and washing hands when entering the vaccination venue.
"The implementation of Health Protocols is essential. Besides protecting ourselves, we also protect other people from the Covid-19 transmission", he explained.
