Head of Criminal Investigation Agency, Police Commissioner General Agus Andrianto explained that the Indonesian National Police had uncovered 13 cases of illegal loan sharks.
"Handling cases of illegal online loans carried out by the Indonesian National Police ranks in accordance with the President's instructions through the Chief of Indonesian National Police, we have uncovered 13 cases with 57 suspects spread throughout Indonesia," explained the Head of Criminal Investigation Agency of Indonesian National Police, Friday (10/22/2021).
Head of Criminal Investigation Agency also revealed that the 13 cases of illegal online loans were spread throughout Indonesia. Starting from Jakarta, West Java, West Kalimantan to Central Java.
“The first thing we reveal is from the Criminal Investigation Agency itself. Then, from the Metro Police, the West Java Regional Police, West Kalimantan Regional Police and Central Java Regional Police," he said.
The Three-Stars General said that currently, the illegal online loans case is still being analyzed. However, later, the analysis results will be discussed with all ranks of the Indonesian National Police in the region so that existing regulations can deal with illegal online loans business actors.
"As the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs said earlier that this illegal online loan objectively and subjectively does not meet the civil element, meaning that their actions are illegal, so we need to take action," concluded the Chief Former of North Sumatra Regional Police.
