Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The police again found a case of changing a Light Fire Extinguisher (APAR) tube into an oxygen cylinder. One person has been named as a suspect in this case.
"Well, this effort was carried out by the suspect with the initials WS or KR. He was trying to make a profit by changing the tube, because there are indeed many customers of oxygen cylinders," explained the Head of Public Relations of Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police's Pol. Grand Commissioner ( 07/30/21 ).
Pol. Grand Commissioner Yusri Yunus also explained, "He changed the fire extinguisher tube which he cleaned with water only, then he painted it a white color similar to an oxygen cylinder and filled with oxygen for people in need," explained Head of PR.
In this case, as many as 114 fire extinguishers were secured from the suspect. "There are 114 tubes that we have secured with two types, first the type of Light Fire Extingiuisher tube which is usually used for fire extinguishing. Then the second, the Light Fire Extingiuisher tube as well but for CO2," explained Pol.Grand Commissioner Yusri Yunus.
For his actions, the Police ensnared Law No. 36 on Health or Article 113 of the Trade Law with a threat of 10-15 years in prison.
