Traffic Corps of Indonesian National Police and Student Executive Council (BEM) Jakarta Distribute Food Packages, Help Overseas Students Affected by Micro Restrictions (PPKM)

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police and the Jakarta BEM carried out necessities to overseas students in the Kwitang area, Senen, Central Jakarta.

In this activity, the Head of the Traffic Corps of the Indonesian Police, Inspector General. Pol. Istiono said the assistance was provided to help the community limit the Level 4 Community Activity Restriction (PPKM).

"Visit our brothers and sisters who are boarding here in the Kwitang area. Then approximately 1,000 packages of essential food items are distributed here. Hopefully, it will be helpful for the brothers who are boarding houses from overseas in this area, "explained the Police Chief.

The two-star general also check vaccinations against those in the area. According to him, around 80 per cent of the people in Kwitang have been vaccinated against Covid-19.

"Earlier, I also loved the overseas brothers and the people around here. Eighty per cent of them have been vaccinated, and the Covid-19 condition is quite well-controlled," explained the National Police Chief of Traffic.

On the same occasion, the Coordinator of the Jakarta BEM Movement, Ahmad Supardi, appreciated the social service activities held by the Korlantas Polri.

The Coordinator of the Jakarta BEM Movement ensures that students and the police unite against the Covid-19 pandemic.

"We hope that our fellow students will continue to focus on learning and continue to focus on overseeing the government's performance. Therefore, today I say that students and the police are united," explained the Coordinator of the Jakarta BEM Movement.
