Traffic Corps, Minister of Home Affairs and Jasa Raharja Launch Road Tax Digitization

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the Police, in collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) and Jasa Raharja, launched a Road Tax Digitization program through holographic security stickers as proof of payment of motor vehicle taxes.

This program aims to support the orderly movement of paying taxes promoted by the government and encourage digital transformation in public services, especially motor vehicle taxation.

The Head of the Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas) of the National Police, Pol. Inspector-General Istiono said that he supports the innovations carried out by the Ministry of Home Affairs to increase local taxes.

"I fully support the innovations carried out by the Ministry of Home Affairs in the context of increasing local taxes, this is our control function and a more effective mechanism for marking these protections for vehicles," said Chief of Traffic Security at the Shangrila Hotel, Jakarta, Monday (10/18/2021).

Pol. Inspector-General lIstiono, also added that the Digitalization of Road Tax could facilitate the control of officers in the field, thus facilitating the identification of vehicles that have or have not paid taxes.

On the same occasion, the Director-General of Regional Finance at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Mochamad Ardian, said that in the future, his party, together with the National Police's Traffic Corps and Jasa Raharja, will continue to support and encourage innovations to support increasing the public in paying taxes and integrating data from all relevant agencies.

"So in the future, we, together with the National Police's Traffic Corps and Jasa Raharja, will continue to encourage innovations in order to increase public awareness in paying taxes and integrating data," said Adrian.
