Commemorating 31 years of service of the 1990 Class of Armed Forces Academy (Akabri 1990), Asahan Departmental Police of North Sumatra Regional Police held Presisi Polri mass vaccination towards 3,400 students in four different locations: 1 Public Vocational High School of Kisaran, 2 Public Vocational High School of Sei Renggas, Kisaran Traffic Corps Office, and 1 Public High School of Pulau Rakyat on Monday (25/10/2021).
During the occasion, Chief of Asahan Departmental Police, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Putu Yudha Perwira, explained that the Presisi vaccination is the instruction of the Chief of North Sumatra Regional Police, Police Inspector General RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak, who is the part of Akabri 1990, in the commemoration of the 31 years of service to push vaccination acceleration in Indonesia, especially in Asahan regency, and aims to form herd immunity, reducing sickness and death due to Covid-19, and protecting and strengthening the immune system.
Vaccination event today involved 3,400 people and 13 vaccinators from the Health Affairs of Asahan Departmental Police, Vaccinator Volunteers from STMIK ROYAL Kisaran and STIKES AS SYIFA, East Kisaran and West Kisaran Public Health Centre, Setio Husodo General Hospital, Gambir Baru, Sidodadi, Rumkit Ban Health Affairs, Health Department of Tanjung Balai Asahan Navy Airfield, and PTPN III Hospital of Sei Dadap.
“As information, besides students, another vaccination target are elders, orphanage, and disabled people. The target was chosen due to the Covid-19 vulnerabilities. Besides, it is conducted to boost vaccination for the student to accelerate and make offline learning a success”, Chief of Asahan Departmental Police, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Putu Yudha Perwira, said.
Chief of Asahan Departmental Police instructed to arrange the seating in accordance to Health Protocols, preparing handwashing place, and entry and exit doors during the event.
“The peak of the event of the 31 years of service of Akabri 1990 would be conducted on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, in which Asahan Departmental Police would conduct vaccination in 1 Public High School of Simpang Empat, Asahan Regency”, Chief of Asahan Departmental Police said.
