To Accelerate Covid-19 handling, Banten Regional Police Held Tracer Training

Banten Regional Police held Covid-19 tracer training for joint staffs under Security Maintenance Agency of Indonesia National Police to accelerating Covid-19 handling which took place at the Multipurpose Hall, Banten Regional Police Headquarter, Friday (07/30/2021).

The speakers at Covid-19 tracer training were Nisa Sri Wahyudi, who was an Officer of WHO Indonesia and Andi Fildza Rafiza, a staff of the Survaillance Division of the Banten Provincial Health Agency.

Director of Directorate of Community Guidance and Development of Banten Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Riki Yanuarfi, said Covid-19 tracer training was carried out as an effort to accelerate the prevention of Covid-19 virus spread in the jurisdiction of Banten Regional Police.

"Today, Banten Regional Police carried out Covid-19 tracer training for joint staff under Directorate of Community Guidance and Development of Indonesia National Police in Banten Regional Police. This training is our effort to handle Covid-19 in Indonesia, especially in Banten Province," Director of Directorate of Community Guidance and Development of Banten Regional Police explained.

In addition, Director of Directorate of Community Guidance and Development of Banten Regional Police explained this training is aimed to prepare Covid-19 tracers who would later assist the task of Covid-19 task force in overcoming Covid-19 virus spread in Banten Province.

"So, the tracer's job is if there are people who are Covid-19 positive, the tracer will ask the person to trace to whom the person communicated in the previous 2-3 days, then they will coordinate with health workers for the testing to be carried out," Police Grand Commissioner Riki Yanuarfi explained.

It is hoped Banten Regional Police personnels who have received Tracer training to be really serious in the implementation, so they have positive impact to handle and prevent Covid-19 cases.
