Recovery Task Force unit from the police have been dispatched to assist clearing the debris and rubbles of building destroyed by earthquake in Cianjur at Awilarangan Village, Cugenang, Tuesday (12/13).
“It is expected that our team could assist the people in evacuating and clearing the rubbles,” said the Head of Public Relations of West Java Police, Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo.
For the excavators that could not clear the concrete of the building, police have already prepared Weber Rescue to handle that matters. The tool would help ease the excavator to pull the rubbles to the trucks.
“By clearing the rubbles, we hoped it would help the community to rebuild their homes and help them gather their items and furnitures that buried under the rubbles,” says Commissioner Ibrahim.
