Entering the fifth day after the earthquake, search and rescue operations are still searching the victims who are still missing in Cianjur. The K9 and SAR team continued to search for the missing victims because there were indications that some are still buried under the rubble.
"To search for victims in a location like this, you have to have special specifications, not all K9s can be deployed. So, to search for victims under the rubble, we dispatched four K9 units from the West Java Regional Police and five K9 units from the Police Ditpolsatwa," explained the Head of the National Police's Security Maintenance Agency (Kabaharkam Polri), Commissioner General Arief Sulisyanto, when visiting the location, West Java , Saturday (11/26).
He added that currently there are two helicopters on standby at Pondok Cabe.
"Because it only took 20 minutes from Pondok Cabe to the location. Thus, we can easily send everything they need from Pondok Cabe. We are ready to help and back up the West Java Regional Police," explained Commissioner General Arief.
On that occasion, he also inspected the preparation of personnel in the field and ignited their spirit.
