In order to prevent and take action against thuggery in the community, the Central Kalimantan Regional Police has launched a Crisis Response Team (CRT) in every police line.
Using full firearms along with two-wheeled vehicles, CRT will patrol every area in taking action and preventing thuggery.
Not only that, the Central Kalimantan Police also has a Raimas Backbone Team which is constantly patrolling areas prone to crime and other Security and Public Order disturbances.
The Central Kalimantan Regional Police are ready to carry out the instructions of the National Police Chief in eradicating thuggery in Central Kalimantan. We emphasize that there is no room for unscrupulous individuals or thuggery, said Central Kalimantan Police Chief Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, Friday (06/11).
Previously, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo instructed all regional police to take firm action against thuggery. This follows a direct instruction from Indonesian President Joko Widodo to take firm action against thugs who often bully container drivers in the Jakarta area.
Eradication of thuggery acts is carried out to ensure safety and provide a sense of calm to the community.
