The target of 6000 Doses of Merdeka Vaccinations, Central Kalimantan Regional Police Hold Simultaneous Drive-Thru Vaccinations in 14 Regencies/Cities

To encourage the 76th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, the Central Kalimantan Regional Police, together the Departemental Police and the staff again held mass vaccinations simultaneously in 14 Regencies/Cities by driving through or without alighting services located at the Precision Vaccine Outlet, Bundaran Besar, Yos Sudarso Street, Palangka Raya City, Thursday (12/08/2021).

The activity was directly reviewed by the Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, accompanied by the Chief Deputy of Regional Police, Police Brigadier General Ida Oetari Poernamasasi and the numbers of High Rank Executives of Central Kalimantan Regional Police.

The Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police said that the target is 6,000 vaccinations in 14 regencies/cities in this vaccination activity, with the main target being the elderly, public servants, and the general public. This mass vaccination is prioritized for the elderly, public servants, and the general public to establish herd immunity or community immunity.

"However, I urge people who have not or have been vaccinated to maintain the health protocols, because otherwise the health protocols are ignored. Currently the Central Kalimantan Regional Police will continue to strive to support the acceleration program of the mass vaccination program, either in the form of medical assistance, security, pick-up for the elderly who will be vaccinated and so on," added the Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police.

"This is one of the efforts in the context of accelerating vaccination to reduce the spread of Covid-19 in Central Kalimantan Province.
