Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Palembang. The Head of the South Sumatra Regional Police Pol. Inspector General Eko Indra Heri inaugurated the Mang Pedeka Bersinar Virtual Community Forum, Smile Application and Millennial Pocket Book entitled Narcotics. This was done in commemoration of the International Anti-Narcotics Day (HANI) and appreciation to members of the police who have eradicated drug trafficking in the Catur Cakti Promoter Room of the South Sumatra Police Headquarter.

In the event, a Casual Chat with the South Sumatra Regional Police Chief was also held as the implementation of the Precision Police Chief's priority program in Operational Transformation.

The South Sumatran Regional Police Chief explained that the prosecution of drug cases one by one could be carried out, of course, with the support of the people of South Sumatra.

"We greatly appreciate the collaboration between the apparatus and the community to help each other in tackling drugs," said the South Sumatra Regional Police Chief.

This is because the eradication of drugs, according to him, is not easy homework. Therefore, the South Sumatra Regional Police Chief stated that those who work to eradicate drugs are a 'Holy War' against drugs.

The two-star general invited the public not to be afraid to report narcotics trafficking activities in their surroundings.

"Report, don't be afraid because we will protect them. Just contact the application or WA directly. We will take action," explained the South Sumatra Regional Police Chief.

Likewise, there are still several points in the area that are signalled as drug settlements.

"Strict action will be taken soon. There are still other places. Of course, it can't be said here," explained the South Sumatra Regional Police Chief.

Not only that, but the involvement of government officials is also in forming an anti-drug solid village.
