Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police Headquarters, together with Indonesian Football Association (PSSI), carried out work socialization and involved all Regional Police in the country as well as all Provincial Associations (Asprov) at the Indonesian National Police Headquarters Crisis Control Center, Wednesday (11/17/2021)

This socialization was carried out about the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between PSSI and the Indonesian National Police Number 12/PSSI/VII-2021 and Number PKS/27/VII/2021 dated July 21, 2021, concerning Issuance of Recommendations and/or Granting of Permits for Security Assistance, Law Enforcement, Health and Foreign Relations in PSSI Activities.

The activity was attended by the Assistant Chief of Indonesian National Police for Operations of the Indonesian National Police, Police Inspector General Imam Sugianto and his staff. Then from PSSI, the General Chairman of PSSI, Police Commissioner General (Ret.) Mochamad Iriawan, PSSI Secretary-General Yunus Nusi, Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee, Police Inspector General (Ret.) Erwin Tobing, and special staff. Meanwhile, it was attended by the President Director of PT LIB, Ahmad Hadian Lukita, and the Director of Operations of PT LIB, Police Inspector General (Ret.) Sudjarno and his staff.

In his remarks, the Assistant Chief of the Indonesian National Police for Operations of the Indonesian National Police thanked PSSI for this cooperation agreement. This collaboration follows up on the collaboration initiated by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Zainudin Amali, and the Chief of Indonesian National Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

"So the point of this collaboration, one of which is guarding the League 1 and 2 competitions from start to finish. And most importantly, in the end, there will be a positive assessment from the public regarding this competition," explained the Assistant Chief of Indonesian National Police for Operations of Indonesian National Police.

The Two-Stars General continued that during this COVID-19 pandemic, the most important thing is to oversee health protocols (prokes). In addition, the Indonesian National Police also know about the news of score fixing.

"Negative issues will create vulnerability and disturbance. Because in the end, it will cause unrest in Community Security and Order. That's why there must be coordination between PSSI, Indonesian National Police Headquarters, and Regional Police," he explained.

The former Chief Deputy of West Kalimantan Regional Police confirmed that the soccer mafia task force still exists. Moreover, even the task force is often present in several matches, both in League 1 and 2.

"The task of the anti-ball mafia task force is prevention. This task is in the territory. So please understand well all Regional Police in the country and sharpen the SOP. Don't let the area not know about this anti-ball mafia task force," he explained.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of PSSI, Mochamad Iriawan, said this cooperation agreement was the first in PSSI's history.

"This is not because I am an ex-policeman. However, I want to return football to the right things," explained the Chairman of PSSI.

He also said that when President Jokowi was summoned, there were three directions given to him. First, the Indonesian national team must excel. Must be able to speak. Both competitions must be exciting and enjoyable to watch. The third is industry.

"This industry can run if there is trust. Just look at how celebrities are buying many League 2 clubs. This indicates trust," he continued.

The former Chief of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police also continued that this socialization would be continued between the Indonesian National Police Headquarters and PSSI. He highlighted that there were still spectators in several Liga 3 matches even though PSSI's rules have not allowed spectators.

"That's why with socialization, everyone can understand all the existing rules," he continued.

The Chairman of PSSI also asked all Provincial Associations to pick up the ball and not wait.

"Convey if there are complaints or problems to the local police. So then, if there are problems, don't blame the police. The main task of the police is Community Security and Order. That's why once again Provincial Associations must be active," he concluded.
