Evidence of drugs destroyed in the form of methamphetamine as much as 18 kilograms and 499 kilograms of marijuana from a total of 17 suspects. As for the details, 1.106 kilograms of 3 people from the Riau Islands network, as much as 1.118 kg of methamphetamine from 2 suspects in the North Sumatra network.
Then, 5 kilograms of shabu from 5 suspects from the Jakarta network, 12.601 grams of meth from 3 suspects from the Surakarta-Jakarta network, and five types of marijuana weighing 500 kilograms from the Aceh network with a total of 4 suspects.
Director of Drug Crime of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Indonesian National Police, Police Brigadier General Krisna Siregar said the destruction of drug evidence was a form of transparency and legal accountability of investigators to related parties and the public.
Police Brigadier General Krisna Siregar also conveyed that the entire community should continue to strive to combat narcotics crimes of any kind. "I advise the entire community and stakeholders, let's together fight drug crime, recover our brothers who are addicts and drug abusers and stay away from families and the environment from the dangers of drug abuse," he explained.
Director of Drug Crime of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Indonesian National Police emphasized that his party will continue to fight drugs and not be involved in the circulation or misuse of these illicit goods.
"I reiterate, here is our commitment not to get involved in drug abuse, whether it's being a user, baking, let alone being a dealer and being involved in illicit drug trafficking," explained the One Star General.
