The Law Enforcement Task Force Team conducted the reconstruction at Ali Mom's shooting scene in Jila Bridge, Amuni Village.
Head of the Nemangkawi Police's Public Relations Task Force, Police Grand Commissioner M Iqbal Al Qudusy, said that the reconstruction process is one of the efforts of the Indonesian authority to uncover the preparations and look for the evidence.
The crime scene for the murder of Ali Mom was to seek and collect information, clues, evidence, the identity of the suspect, and witnesses for further investigation," said Iqbal, Jakarta, Saturday (24/4/2021).
Meanwhile, the reconstruction also looks for the relationships between witnesses or victims, suspects, and evidence. It also obtains a description of the modus operandi of the crime that occurred.
"The evidence obtained at the crime scene are Ali Mom's motorbike which has been burned, bloodstains, and a plastic bag containing Papuan betel nuts," said Iqbal.
The shooting and stabbing cases carried out by the Armed Criminal Group - Papuan Separatist Movement against the late Ali Mom, a senior high school student, took place on Thursday, April 15 around 7 a.m. Eastern Indonesian Time (GMT +9) in the Beoga district, Puncak regency.
