National Police Chief General of Police Listyo Sigit Prabowo, challenges the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police Chief l, Inspector General M Fadil Imran to achieve the target of 100 percent second dose vaccination in Jakarta and its surroundings. The second doses of vaccination will be held in September 2021.
The National Police Chief also asked other regions to follow similar steps. This is important in order to accelerate the vaccination target.
I challenge the end of August, the beginning of September the second dose of 100 percent. I urge all regions to do the same, we work hand in hand and work together, said the National Police Chief, Jakarta, Wednesday, August 18 2021.
In addition to providing challenges, the National Police Chief appreciates and is grateful that the Merdeka Vaccination went smoothly. The first dose of Merdeka vaccination was 99 percent.
Merdeka Vaccination will be carried out from August 1 to 17, 2021. Listyo said that the target was achieved thanks to the hard work of volunteers, local governments, and the community.
"This vaccination can be carried out at the lowest level at the hamlet level, in 900 hamlet if I'm not mistaken, assisted by the strength of more than three thousand volunteer teams. So that achievement can then be achieved," explained the National Police Chief.
Meanwhile, the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Fadil Imran appreciated the dedication of all parties, especially the Independent Vaccination volunteers. Fadil said the dedication and contribution of the volunteers helped Indonesia get out of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"This is a dedication and love that we have built and that is what we can and see from the National Police Chief, the National Armed Forces Commander and volunteers. We all hope that the dedication of all parties can push Indonesia out of the Covid-19 pandemic," explained the Regional Police Chief.
