Listyo Sigit Prabowo reminded the role of health workers when reviewing the centralized isolation of people without symptoms (OTG) and the Rorotan Village in the Cilincing area, North Jakarta. The review was carried out by the National Police Chief together with the National Armed Forces Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto.
"The role of health workers is important to sort people exposed to the COVID-19 virus into asymptomatic and symptomatic categories," explained the National Police Chief on Tuesday, June 22.
Not only that, they explained as the National Police Chief, it is necessary to increase the number of health workers who work in centralized isolation OTG Nagrak Flats, North Jakarta.
According to the National Police Chief, the addition of health workers is needed if the Nagrak Flat is functioned as an integrated self-isolation place.
"It is necessary to add 10 doctors and 50 nurses. Then the facilities for the community to self-isolate such as velbeds and others have been fulfilled," continued the National Police Chief.
After reviewing the Nagrak Flats, the National Police Chief, Commander, and Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin visited the Rorotan Micro Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities in Indonesia's Command Post, Cilincing, North Jakarta.
The three emphasized the importance of assisting Village Advisory Officer, Security and Public Order, Community Health Cneter, and district officials in handling communities affected by COVID-19 in the region.
"Hopefully there needs to be assistance by Village Advisory Officers and Security and Public Order officers, village health centers, and village officials," said the National Police Chief.
Next, the group visited the South Gandaria Micro Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities in Indonesia's Command Post, Cilandak, South Jakarta. At that location, the National Police Chief gave a message that there should be strict supervision by local authorities against people who are desperate to go home during Eid.
"Gandaria Village, including the positive numbers, experienced an increase after returning from Lebaran homecoming," said the National Police Chief.
On the other hand, the National Police Chief appreciated the synergy between the Police, National Armed Forces, and local governments at the Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities in Indonesia's Command Post. However, the data regarding the development of COVID-19 in the region still needs to be improved.
"The pattern of handling at Micro Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities in Indonesia is good, there is coordination between the village head, health workers, Security and Public Order and Village Advisory Officer. However, the data needs to be completed again," explained the National Police Chief.
