The National Police Chief, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, together with the National Armed Forces Commander carried out a review of the Central Isolation Center facility for Covid-19 patients at the Inna Grand Bali Beach Hotel, Denpasar, Bali, which was undergoing quarantine, Sunday (08/29/21).
During the visit, the National Police Chief along with the National Armed Forces Commander accompanied by the Governor of Bali Wayan Koster, Denpasar Mayor I Gusti Ngurah Jayanegara, and relevant government officials accompanied the National Armed Forces Commander and the National Police Chief to conduct a review.
In this activity, the National Police Chief appreciated the success of the regional government in transferring Covid-19 sufferers who carried out independent isolation (isoman) at home to a Central Isolation Center facility.
“Currently, the Central Isolation Center is 60 percent and the Self-Isolation is 25 percent. This is the best Central Isolation Center number,” explained the National Police Chief.
At the same time, the National Armed Forces Commander explained that the importance of providing Central Isolation Center facilities in an effort to minimize the risk of Covid-19 transmission.
"Efforts to suppress the rate of transmission of COVID-19 include carrying out close contact tracing of existing confirmed cases, then proceeding with Central Isolation Center," explained the National Armed Forces Commander.
The National Armed Forces Commander assessed that services for patients with corona virus infection who were undergoing quarantine in Central Isolation Center facilities (isoters) in the Bali area were generally good.
The National Armed Forces commander said that in a Central Isolation Center facility, COVID-19 sufferers could undergo quarantine under the supervision of health workers so that they could immediately receive medical treatment if their condition worsens.
