Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Klaten. The National Police Chief, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, together with the Indonesian Armed Commander, Air Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, intensively conducts visits to a several of areas in order to ensure that the handling of the Covid-19 pandemic is going well.
On this occasion, the National Police Chief together with the Indonesian Armed Forces Commander returned to Klaten to lead a briefing meeting on the handling and control of Covid-19 with the Regional Communication Leadership Forum (Forkopimda) Klaten, Central Java, Saturday (21/8/21).
The National Police Chief said that the Government of the Republic of Indonesia participates in evaluating the PPKM policy every week to conduct an assessment related to which areas must maintain the PPKM level, as well as which areas can be relaxed. “However, this easing has consequences for an increase in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases. Therefore, the step that must be taken is the enforcement of health protocols,” said the National Police Chief.
He continued, the National Police Chief conveyed the easing that was carried out to restore the affected economy when the emergency PPKM took place, so that the community could return to carrying out activities with a full record of always implementing Health protocols in order to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission affected by the economy due to the tightening, the economy can run again.
