Another inspirational story came from the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia, this time one of the Indonesian National Police heroines who served as Community Police Officers personnel of the Sanden Sector Police of the Bantul Resort Police of the Yogyakarta Regional Police succeeded in becoming a pioneer of food security for the fostered community in four hamlets, namely Piring 1, Plate 2, Kurahan 1, and Kurahan 2.
Police Chief Brigadier Tri Asih has been self-taught in cultivating pineapples since 2012. Compared to other pineapples, the pineapples developed by Police Chief Brigadier Tri Asih weigh 4-5 kilograms per fruit with a very high economic price.
“I planted the flower on the top of the pineapple, and it managed to grow into a seed. Because of the size of the fruit, I named it Nanas Bagong (pineapple bagong)," said Police Chief Brigadier Tri Asih.
The information provided stated that the seeds developed for nine years were able to produce hundreds of seeds, which later became the main ingredients in community empowerment in the field of food security. His pride was also present to see many people interested in planting Bagong pineapple because of its high economic value.
