Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Serang. The Chief of the Republic of Indonesia National Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, accompanied by the Banten Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto Adi Nugroho, provided social assistance in the form of 1000 food packages which were symbolically given to 5 representatives of workers and the surrounding community, in Tangerang, Thursday (19/08/21).
On this occasion, the National Police Chief hoped that what he provided could be useful and could ease the burden on the community affected by PPKM in Tangerang, Banten.
"Hopefully this helps, this is to help with daily needs," explained the National Police Chief.
At the same time. The Banten Police Chief said that the social assistance came from the Indonesian government which was channeled through the Army-Police.
"This is a form of the state's presence in the community. At the same time, it is a form of government responsibility to people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic," explained the Banten Police Chief.
The Head of Public Relations of the Banten Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Attendant Shinto Silitonga, added that the distribution of social assistance was the Government's commitment to the policies taken as well as a manifestation of the presence of the state in the midst of society.
"We hope this can help, from the government, which of course we hope can ease the burden on the affected people," explained the Head of Public Relations of the Banten Police.
