Tribratanews.polri.go.id-Balikpapan. In order to accelerate Herd Immunity in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic, the East Kalimantan Regional Police again held a Precision vaccination Outlet in the Balikpapan City Area, Sunday (09/05/2021).
In this case the Head of the East Kalimantan Regional Police's Medical and Health division, Pol. Grand Commissioner B. Djarot Wibowo reviewed the implementation of the National Armed Forces and National Police vaccination at Mulia University, Balikpapan City.
Head of the East Kalimantan Regional Police's Medical and Health, Pol. Grand Commissioner B Djarot Wibowo said, to optimise the national vaccination program, the National Police created precision vaccine outlets in collaboration with private parties and community leaders.
Not only reviewing the implementation of vaccination, the Head of the East Kalimantan Regional Police's Medical and Health division also checked the Health protocol at the vaccination location. Starting from the availability of hand washing facilities complete with soap, the use of masks for participants and the vaccine committee, to the arrangement of seating distances.
"We have to trust the government and the doctors who inject this vaccine to produce the best, increase the body's resistance so that it is not easily infected with Covid-19, "added Pol. Grand Commissioner B. Djarot Wibowo.
The current vaccination target is 350 doses of vaccine targeting Balikpapan residents and the Tanah Jawi Association (Ikapati).
The Head of the East Kalimantan Regional Police's Medical and Health also appealed to the entire community not to be afraid to receive the Covid-19 vaccine injection.
Pol. Grand Commissioner B. Djarot Wibowo also reminded the public that even though they had been vaccinated against Covid-19, they still had to prioritise health protocols by implementing the 5 M (Wearing masks, maintaining distance, and washing hands, avoiding crowds and reducing mobility).
