Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Surabaya. The East Java Regional Police and the Resort Police are carrying out surveillance related to the maximum tariffs limit for the Covid-19 PCR test. The supervision was carried out in all health facilities in East Java.
The Head of PR of the East Java Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Gatot Repli Handoko, emphasized that the East Java Regional Police would follow up on orders from the President, the National Police Chief, and the Regional Police Chief to monitor the price of PCR which has been adjusted to the government's decision.
The Head of Public Relations of the East Java Regional Police said that the highest tariff for the PCR test was IDR 495 thousands. On that basis, his party urges the public to report if they find a tariff above the price determined by the government.
"People could report, later we will work with the Task Force and the Health Office to monitor the findings," explained the Head of Public Relations of the East Java Regional Police.
Related to this, the Head of Public Relations of the East Java regional Police, said that the East Java Regional Police had formed a special team commanded by the East Java Regional Police's Directorate of Criminal Investigation Agency. The team has collaborated with the Covid-19 Task Force and the Health Office.
"There is a team from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation Agency and the task force," explained the Head of Public Relations of the East Java Regional Police.
As previously known, the President of the Republic of Indonesia ordered that the price of the PCR test be lowered to the range of IDR 450 thousand to IDR 550 thousand. Initially the PCR test was in the price range of IDR 800 thousand to IDR 1.2 million.
