"It's varied, for example, the highest retail price (HET) is set at IDR 7,000 per item, but he sells it in the range of IDR 100-150 thousand. This range is too far. There are also expensive drugs, but according to the Ministry of Health regulations, the 11 drugs are already relatively expensive at around IDR 2-3 million because they are imported, then in the field it can be 40-50 million," said One Star General.
For oxygen gas cylinders, the average profit earned is IDR 3-5 million per cylinder. Meanwhile, the capital spent is only IDR 300-700 thousand, explained the Military Academy graduate in 1993.
Regarding the many individuals who continue to emerge to take advantage of the Covid-19 pandemic situation by hoarding drugs and selling them at high prices while modifying tubes, the police will not be careless and will continue to work closely with related parties to discover the case.
