Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Pekanbaru. A total of 41 Riau Regional Police personnel received awards for achievements in the field of Police operational duties in 2021. The award was given by the Chief of Riau Regional Police, Police Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi, at an event held in the Tribrata hall of the Riau Regional Police on Wednesday (8/9/2021).
They received an award for the successful disclosure of cases that attracted public attention. A total of 22 personnel from the Directorate of Drug Investigations Agency received awards for their success in disclosing 108 kg of methamphetamine criminal cases with suspect Bobby Wiranda Herman Bin Herman. In addition, five personnel of the Special Investigation Directorate received awards for the successful disclosure of the TP case. Banking by Riau Bank Teller, Riau Islands, Pasir Pangaraian Branch, Rohul District with a total loss of Rp. 1,390,000,000,- and investigation of alleged Banking Crimes by insurance brokerage companies to the Head of Riau Bank Branch, Riau Islands, Tembilahan Branch, Teluk Kuantan Branch and Bagan Batu Rohil Sub-Branch. As well as 14 personnel of the General Crimes Directorate who received awards for the disclosure of violent theft cases, murder cases and the successful disclosure of criminals under the Emergency Law No. 12 of 1951 and the International Narcotics Network.
In his remarks, the Chief of Riau Regional Police congratulated the members who had shown their achievements. This, according to him, indicates that the Riau Regional Police are not tin cans.
He also invited all his staff to fill the dynamics of the field of police duties with achievements.
"We must be proud of the Indonesian National Police institution. We must be able to show our abilities by issuing all expressions as a policeman, perfect for excelling in carrying out police duties," explained the Chief of Riau Regional Police.
The two-stars general hopes that the Riau Regional Police, with the quality of its personnel, will show good performance so that the community will feel the benefits.
The Chief of Riau Regional Police said that the award is one of the essential points for increasing career paths to be promoted. Therefore, he invites all staff to carry out their duties to the best of their ability.
"I hope that the performance of the Riau Regional Police can be felt and get a good response in the community, and we must be able to take positive changes so that the quality becomes better, always ready to accept the challenges of the task," explained the Chief of Riau Regional Police.
