Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Chief of Indonesia National Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo mentioned the Madago Raya of Indonesia National Armed Forces (TNI)-Indonesia National Police (Polri) Task Force continues to hunt he East Indonesia Mujahidin (MIT) group led by Ali Kalora.
Sigit said up to now, there are only nine people under the leadership of Ali Kalora at MIT. The officers continued to pursue the remaining members of the terror group.
"We will continue to pursue 9 people from Ali Kalora's group," Sigit said during a Working Meeting (Raker) with Commission III of Indonesia House of Representatives (DPR RI) at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday (06/16/2021).
According to Sigit, TNI-Polri personnels have taken firm and measured action against the two fugitives from the group. They are, Alvin alias Adam alias Mus'ab, wanted person (DPO) from Banten and Hairul alias Irul DPO from Poso.
"The TNI-Polri have been holding the 2021 Madago Raya operation since January 2021. In the first phase, the National Police has succeeded in taking measurable decisive action against 2 DPOs," Sigit said.
Not only that, according to Sigit, his team also knew about the movement of the MIT group. "We found strong information related to the movement of DPOs," Sigit concluded.
