The Banten Regional Police held a coordination meeting related to the preparation for the implementation of mass vaccination activities with a target of 19,500 peoples per day. The coordination meeting was chaired by the Banten Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto Adi Nugroho, with the Deputy Chief of the Banten Regional Police, Brigadier General Pol. Ery Nursatari, and followed by all the High Rank Executives of the Banten Regional Police in the Crisis Center Room, Sheikh Nawawi Al Bantani No.76 street of Serang City. Wednesday (08/25/2021).
The Banten Regional Police Chief said the coordination meeting was aimed at discussing the preparation of the Banten Regional Police in carrying out mass vaccination activities with a target of 19,500 per day.
"Today we are holding a coordination meeting related to the preparation for the implementation of vaccination activities in the jurisdiction of the Banten Regional Police," said the Regional Police Chief.
"Where is the plan we will carry out vaccination activities with a target of 19,500 peoples per day. This target is very high for us who only have 6 Resort Police, for that this is our shared responsibility. 19,500 vaccinations," he continued.
The Banten Regional Police Chief also stated that, ahead of the implementation of this vaccination activity, the Banten Regional Police would add more vaccinators.
"To achieve this target of 19,500, there must be additional vaccinators, we only have 60 vaccinators, plus 100 people from Institute of Health Science Faletehan have joined as volunteers. And the plan is that Institute of Health Science Faletehan volunteers who went to Jakarta will be withdrawn to the jurisdiction of the Banten Regional Police," added the Regional Police Chief.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Medical and Doctor of Banten Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Agung Widodo, explained that to reach the target of 19,500 per day, 400 health workers are needed.
"The ability of vaccinators is 4 people/team (registration, screening, injector, and operator data input/2 health workers and 2 civilians), 1 hour 5 people, 6-9 hours > 150 participants can be vaccinated, if the target is 600 people 4 teams are needed, for the target of 1,200, 8 teams are needed. This means that to achieve the target of 19,500, there must be 130 teams per day. While in the Resort Police there is only 1 team and for the Regional Police there are only 9 teams. For that, colleagues from the Resort Police must recruit personnel in their respective areas. -each to be able to achieve the target," explained the Head of the Banten Regional Police Headquarter.
"I think the distribution is fair enough, later if there are Resort Police colleagues who are less than the target we will help, I have calculated, for the need for vaccinators a total of 400 peoples are needed, Directorate of Water Police has assisted for non-medical personnel, all they need to do is seek help from the health workers, " he closed.
