Surabaya Metropolitan Police launched mobile mask cars to tackle the spread of Covid-19.

Tribratanews.polri.do.id- Surabaya. Chief of Surabaya Metropolitan Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Akhmad Yusep Gunawan, moved to Surabaya towards the green zone from the Covid-19 pandemic by launching two mobile mask cars as a new innovation in tackling the spread of covid-19.

The innovation that was launched is to keep the people of Surabaya in compliance with health protocols in welcoming Community Activity Restriction Enforcement level 2, the car is also equipped with thousands of logistics supporting health protocols and distributed free of charge to the public.

"This mobile mask car is manned by a number of members from the Surabaya Metropolitan Police who are tasked with distributing masks to the public. Especially in public service centers in particular, both night markets, and in the Street Sellers nvironment," said the Surabaya Metropolitan Police Chief, Friday (09/03/21).

The Surabaya Metropolitan Police Chief said, in the mobility of this mobile mask car, later it would go hand in hand with the mobile vaccine booth car.

With the launch of the two mobile mask cars, Pol. Grand Commissioner Akhmad Yusep Gunawan, hopes that when Surabaya has become level 3 or the yellow zone in handling Covid-19, people are expected not to be careless, in the future the City of Surabaya is targeting to become level 2.

"We are at level 3, the yellow zone in the city of Surabaya, we can maintain public health. So that we can increase to level 2," said the Surabaya Metropolitan Police Chief.

In an effort to reach level 2 in handling Covid-19, the Surabaya Metropolitan Police will work with the Surabaya City Government to carry out testing, tracing and treatment to ensure that there is no transmission and spread of the Corona Virus.

The Surabaya Metropolitan Police Chief added. Currently, roadblocks in Surabaya have begun to loosen in the hope that the economy will recover again.
