Suppressing the Spread of Covid-19, West Sumatra Regional Police Provided Free Vaccines to the People of West Sumatra Until the End of June 2021

Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Padang. To suppress the spread of Covid-19 in the West Sumatra region, the West Sumatra Regional Police provided free vaccinations in two different places in Padang City, Sunday (06/20/21).
A total of 373 people participated in the vaccination activity. 144 people at the West Sumatra Police's Badminton Field and 229 people at the Imam Bonjol Field, Padang.
Head of Public Affairs of West Sumatra Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Satake Bayu Setianto, said this vaccination was held to welcome the anniversary of Bhayangkara Day as well as Medical and Health Unit of Indonesia National Police. He also advised the public, especially in Padang City area to be vaccinated against Covid-19 so number of Covid-19 can be reduced. This vaccination is still being held until the end of June 2021.
"Let's get Covid-19 vaccinated, because it can increase our immunity," the Head of Public Affairs of West Sumatra Regional Police explained.
Meanwhile, the Head of Medical and Health Division of West Sumatera Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Lisda Cancer said the free vaccine service took place from Saturday (06/192021) to Saturday (05/262021). The Covid-19 vaccine has many benefits. The goal is to form herd immunity from Covid-19.
“Vaccine is one way to break the chain or spread of the Covid-19 virus," the Head of Medical and Health Division of West Sumatera Regional Police explained.
