Suppressing the Spread of Covid-19, Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief Review Vaccinations on the Mentaya River Bank and Distribute Basic Food Packages

In order to have an independent vaccine for a strong and growing Indonesia, the Central Kalimantan Police continues to make various efforts, one of which is by carrying out vaccinations on the banks of the Mentaya River, East Kotawaringin Regency, Saturday (08/14/2021).

Appearing to be present when reviewing the implementation of vaccinations on the banks of the Mentaya River, including the Head of the Central Kalimantan Police, Inspector General Pol. Dedi Prasetyo, accompanied by the Head of Bhayangkari Central Kalimantan, Mrs. Martha Dedi Prasetyo, Regional Supervision and Inspectorat, Pol. Grand Commissioner Iman Prijantoro, and Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief Officials.

In his explanation, the Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief through the Central Kalimantan Police Head of Public Relations, Pol. Grand Commissioner K. Eko Saputro, said that the implementation of the vaccination on the banks of the Mentaya River was carried out in three places, namely the Mekarsari Village Pier, Hanaut District, Hantipan Village Pier, Hanaut district and Pier in Bagendang Hulu Village, Mentaya Downstream North district. In this vaccination, the Central Kalimantan Regional Police are targeting 1000 vaccines targeting the elderly and people on the banks of the Mentaya river.

"I hope that the vaccination for residents on the banks of the Mentaya River could accelerate the formation of herd immunity so that the spread of Covid-19 can be reduced to a minimum. Furthermore, at the end of the activity, the Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief also took time to distribute food packages to people who had been vaccinated," concluded the Head of Central Kalimantan Regional Police.
