Supporting the National Vaccination Acceleration Program, Riau Regional Police Targets 22 Thousand People in Vaccination

Inspector-General Agung Setya Imam Effendi, reviewed the implementation of the Kompak vaccination accompanied by Bengkalis Regent Kasmarni, Bengkalis Resort Police Chief, Pol. Grand Commissioner Attendant Hendra Gunawan, Military Regional Command 0303/Bengkalis Lt. Col. Inf. Endik Yunia and the head of regional apparatus within the Bengkalis Regency Government. In this activity, the Riau Police held a Compact vaccination centred on the Bengkalis Monument Field, Tuesday (10/26/2021). As a result, as many as 22,000 residents of the Bengkalis Regency were targeted. “We do this together with Forkopimda and volunteers who have worked well together. Hopefully, every kindness will be repaid by God Almighty,” explained the Riau Regional Police Chief. The two-star general added that 5,000 vaccines were prepared for vaccination at the Tugu Bengkalis field. “We hope that with the implementation of this vaccination, of course, in supporting the government’s program, of course, by minimizing the spread of Covid-19 in Bengkalis Regency,” explained the Riau Regional Police Chief. The Riau Regional Police Chief explained that the vaccination targets were students in Bengkalis District, students who would carry out face-to-face learning and the elderly. “I have also seen the enthusiasm of the community for the implementation of vaccination; the readiness of our officers to check is very ready and mature. Hopefully, this collaboration will continue,” explained the Riau Regional Police Chief. The Riau Police Chief hopes that the people of Bengkalis Regency will achieve Herd Immunity, hopefully through joint efforts and joint efforts, it can be realized. Meanwhile, Regent Kasmarni said that continuous vaccination could reduce Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in Bengkalis Regency after previously Bengkalis Regency was at level 3 because the vaccination target had not been achieved.
“We constantly urge the entire community to jointly carry out vaccinations so that their immune system increases,” explained Regent Kasmarni. On that occasion, social assistance was also handed over to the underprivileged communities in Bengkalis Regency.
