Supporting the Government's Program, North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief Observes the Independent Vaccination Outlet at the Jasa Raharja Office

In order to support the government's program, the North Sulawesi Regional Police together with Jasa Raharja North Sulawesi Branch established the JR-ku Vaccine Outlet which was held at the Office of Jasa Raharja, North Sulawesi Branch, Ahmad Yani Sario Avenue, Manado, Saturday (08/21/2021).

The course of activities in the series of Merdeka Vaccinations was monitored directly by the North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Nana Sujana, with the Deputy Chief of Police, Brigadier General. Pol. Jhonny Edison Isir, Head of the North Sulawesi Branch of Jasa Raharja Pahlevi Barnawi Syarif, Main Officials of North Sulawesi Regional Police, and Manado Police Chief.

In this activity, the Regional Police Chief directly reviewed every stage of vaccination. Starting from registration, health checks, vaccine injections, and observations, as well as dialogue with participants and vaccinators.

The North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief, said that the development of the spread of Covid-19 in North Sulawesi is currently still quite high but tends to slope and decline. Therefore, there needs to be cooperation between the Army, Police, Government and other relevant stakeholders to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic. This is a shared responsibility, not just one party.

"There are three keys to suppressing the spread of the corona virus. The first is public compliance with the 5M health protocol. Namely, wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining distance, avoiding crowds, and reducing mobility. The second key is 3T (Testing, Tracing, and Treatment). In terms of tracing," explained the Regional Police Chief, the North Sulawesi Regional Police and their ranks already have a Tracer Team assigned in the field to track people who have close contact with people exposed to Covid-19. "While the third key is the acceleration of vaccination, which the North Sulawesi Regional Police and ranks almost every day," added the North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief.

"For the vaccination in North Sulawesi, the Regional Police Chief explained that the first stage has reached 37 percent, while the second stage is 15 percent. In the future, the North Sulawesi Regional Police's Regional Leadership Coordination Forum of North Sulawesi will continue to work together with relevant agencies to intensify vaccination. Because this vaccination is quite effective to achieve herd immunity or group immunity and will carry out justification operations and socialise health protocols to the public, including the implementation of Community Activity Restrictions. In this Merdeka Vaccination activity, 200 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine have been prepared, and 100 doses of Sinovac vaccine," said the North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief.
