Located in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Regional Police Headquarters lobby, Chief of Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Regional Police, Police Inspector General Asep Suhendar officially launched and released Mobile Car Vaccination, Thursday (16/09/21).
This activity is one of the efforts to support the National Vaccination Acceleration. On this occasion, the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Regional Police carried out the "Launching and Release of Mobile Car Vaccination".
This Mobile Car Vaccination will serve community groups throughout DIY, hoping that the target for achieving vaccination in the DIY area will soon be met.
On this occasion, the Chief of Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Regional Police were accompanied by the High-Rank Executives of Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Regional Police and the Chief of Departemental Police/City Police ranks symbolically released the Mobile Car Vaccination.
The implementation of accelerated vaccination in the DIY region needs support from the private sector and related stakeholders. Thus, the private sector has a vital role in the success of national vaccination.
"Therefore, I appeal to all High-Rank Executives and the Chief of Departemental Police/City Police to establish cooperation with the private sector in the field of accelerating vaccinations," said Two Stars General.
In his remarks, the Chief of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Regional Police also thanked all those who had helped form this innovation.

Meanwhile, Director of Community Guidance of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Anjar Gunadi said that to support the success of mass vaccination in the community, the Directorate of Community Development and Medicine and Health of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Regional Police carried out acceleration or acceleration of special vaccinations in remote areas. However, considering the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Regional Police, many remote areas are difficult to reach.
“Currently, the achievement of dose one vaccination in the DIY region is 76.8%, mostly consisting of urban, rural and affordable areas. However, until now, especially in remote areas, this has not been facilitated due to geographical constraints and the distance to health facilities,” said the Chief of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Regional Police.
Therefore, the Directorate of Community Development and Medicine and Health of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Regional Police made a breakthrough for seven units of Mobile Car Vaccination. Which consists of 1 unit of the Directorate of Community Development of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Regional Police check the car, one unit of vaccination car around Medicine and Health, and five units of Departemental Police rank.
"It is hoped that the existence of this Mobile Car Vaccination will accelerate the achievement of vaccinations in DIY. And this activity is expected to be able to reduce the number of Covid-19 sufferers so that the DIY region can soon be free from this pandemic," concluded the Indonesian Armed Forces Academy graduate in 1987.
